He enjoys his very private life and he answers to no one. Until one day he meets a woman – a woman that will challenge everything he is and everything he has been.

This is the story of a remarkable man, a dangerous man. His life in his words. This is the story of Robert Stone.

Robert (Fallen Angel Series)Robert by Tracie Podger

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Robert’s story was emotional sad from the beginning. Everything that he went through tore through me like no tomorrow. I was hooked reading all the emotions through book. Then When he finally couldn’t take anymore he runaway. After setting flames to his Aunts house. Broken and afraid he hitched a ride to New York. This is where his journey began. He stood up for a boy that was being harassed by a bunch of jerks. This is where he Meets Travis his best friend. From then on they both fended for each other. Helped each other to find a warm dry place to sleep. And Then things to eat.
Then one day Robert noticed a lady dropping her things a perfect opportunity to take her purse. When she dropped everything. Robert looked back and seen something in her eyes that made him want to help her so Instead of running off. He turned back and helped her and returned her purse. Explained that his friend needed medicine. And then she helped both him and His friend Travis made sure they both got something to eat every day.
This story had that draw in factor. but at the same time I was let down the way it ended. I am not the cliff hanger type of person. It was beautiful written. Even some mild sexy scenes. But nothing to be warpped up in. The end is when the action happened but then it ended. And I was sadly disappointed. I love Tracie’s books. Even this one. but So Not sure I will want to wait. It did make me want to know what happens but I was so disappointed it ended that way. You should read her other series first 🙂 They all HEatherPinkhave that draw in factor! Then Wait for the next book before you pick up if your not a cliff hanger person 🙂 If you are ! Then It will be worth the time you do read 🙂

I watched her undo the belt at her side and shrug her shoulders, the dress falling to the floor.  She slowly turned. She wore black lace panties and a matching bra. I strode towards her, taking her face in one hand, turning it to the side, giving me access to her neck.

I heard her breath quicken. I felt her hands on my chest, loosening my tie. I pulled her bra down, releasing a breast and sucked on her nipple while she fumbled with the zipper on my pants.

“You are one mean bastard,” she said.

“So I’ve been told, many times,” I whispered as my teeth bit down hard on her earlobe.

Photo depiction of Robert Stone in the shower - a scene from Robert, a novel from the Fallen Angel Series by Tracie PodgerTravis left and I headed for the shower. I closed my eyes and let the water run over my face, tilting it towards the shower head.  I tried to conjure up some feeling towards what we had done, but nothing came. Was I so heartless that I couldn’t feel even the slightest remorse? Even killing a man for justifiable reasons deserved some feeling. There was no doubt Padriac was a threat to me and my family and that threat had to be dealt with. He couldn’t be allowed to blackmail or talk, but what was more important, he had beaten and abused my brother.  I wouldn’t allow anyone to hurt my family and live after.
