Angel Falling (Falling, #1)Angel Falling by Audrey Carlan

My rating: 4 of 5 stars
One day as Aspen Reynolds is walking to her office in New York, her whole world changes. Hank Jensen is working construction on her office building when loose pipes begin to fall. Hank risks his life to save Aspen and nothing is ever the same again for either one. Aspen is a lethal combination of beauty, brains and wealth. She is the CEO of her own company and enjoys the lifestyle that money brings. Hank is a laid back, low maintenance, proud owner of his construction company from Texas. He was everything Aspen should not want but did. As Hank recovers from the accident at Aspen’s home, their attraction begins to blaze out of control. Aspen discovers that there is more to life than work. As they try to blend their different lives together problems occur. They both have issues from their past that make them question their decision to be together. This story was such a good start to the Fallen series. Aspen and Hank were fun characters and the story was full of humor and passion. It was a feel good story that made you smile while you read it.LeslieCliffordGreen

London Falling (Falling, #2)London Falling by Audrey Carlan

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

After the untimely death of her husband, London Kelley made a promise to herself that she would never fall in love again. Love only brought pain and hurt. Relationships were not for her. Collier Sloane was about to change all that. Collier was also jaded from the betrayal of his ex-wife. After a chance meeting and spending one incredible night together Collier was ready for more but London only wanted to run. Run from her feelings for Collier and the fear those feelings brought. Helping her sister to plan a wedding, her dependency on her best friend, Tripp and her job as an interior designer were not enough distraction from her thoughts of Collier. When she does decide to take a chance again she finds that it might be too late. Once again tragedy has struck but will there be time for a second chance? This was an excellent story about loss and the ability to love again. It is the second book in the Falling series and has a unique feel that separates it from book one but stays true to the series.LeslieCliffordGreen

Justice Falling (Falling, #3)Justice Falling by Audrey Carlan

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Life was never easy for Camille. Tossed from one abusive foster home to another as a child, Camille comes to New York for a fresh start. Unfortunately she becomes involved in a relationship with a married man that ends with her pregnant and alone. Four years later, Camille finds employment at Jensen Construction as a receptionist during the day and a stripper at night to provide for her son. Nate Walker is a charming attorney who has had his share of no strings attached relationships but is now looking for more. Nate is enchanted by Camille’s beauty and innocence. He sets out to reassure Camille that she can trust him and she is worthy of someone to love her. As her secrets about her son’s paternity and her second job are revealed Camille fears Nate will leave her just like everyone else has done. Can Nate convince Camille not to run? This is the third book in the Fallen series and possibly my favorite of all. Once again we are reunited with the characters from the previous books and their lives with Camille and Nate’s are intertwined so beautifully. The author has done an outstanding job of bringing all these stories together.LeslieCliffordGreen

Carlan is a professional fundraiser for an international healthcare
related charity by day, and a sensual and erotic contemporary romance
writer by night. She lives in the sunny California Valley two hours
away from the city, the beach, the mountains and the precious…the
vineyards. She has been married to the love of her life for 10 years
and has two young children that live up to their title of
Madness” on daily basis. When she’s not raising money, sipping wine
with her “soul sisters”, three incredibly different and unique voices
in her life, she can be found with her nose stuck in book or her
Kindle. A hot, smutty, romantic book to be exact!
life she believes that all things have their purpose even if we are
unable to determine the purpose immediately.
